FALL ISSUE 2024
For 10 weeks, students participating in Align worked tirelessly on the Fall 2024 issue: The New Frontier. This issue prompts pushing the boundaries of history to explore uncharted territories. It begs the question, what is the gold rush of our generation? In the role of art director, alongside a team, I developed and executed a photoshoot centered around a character searching for her own gold rush. This shoot captured the idea that the past and the future can coexist; one can utilize history and simultaneously expand to new heights of the future.

WINTER ISSUE 2025
When Align presented the prompt for the Winter 2025 Issue, Double Take, my mind immediately raced to the duality of nostalgia as a part of growing up. I wanted to create a shoot that could capture the reminiscence of a person you were once deeply connected to, and a version of yourself that ceases to exist. Like trying to force two puzzle pieces that no longer fit together. A sort of deep longing and grief for the passage of time.
